With the advent of globalisation, there is a need for immigration laws to reflect labour market needs, says Federation of Swaziland Employers and Chamber of Commerce (FSE&CC) President Zakes Nkosi.

'There is no doubt that with the advent of globalisation came the free movement of goods and persons, thus the call for our immigration laws to reflect labour market needs,' he said during the East, Central and Southern African Employers Organisations (ECSAEO) 2009 Conference at Royal Villas yesterday.

'Indeed it calls upon countries to embrace fully the decent work agenda, which has been described as a means to promote opportunities for women and men to obtain decent and productive work under conditions of freedom, equity, security and human dignity.'
