Canada: Immigration probes background of pilot who crashed in B.C.

VICTORIA - The American pilot of a small plane that crashed Monday night near French Beach will be questioned by the Canada Border Services after weapons were found on the Piper-Comanche aircraft.
The man, 64, emerged from the crash with a minor head injury while his wife, 42, is in hospital with a skull fracture and broken arm.
The two were en route from Juneau, Alaska, to Washington State when the pilot realized they didn't have enough fuel to reach their destination, he told Canadian officials.
