NY governor throws weight behind immigration call center

Come One, come all, and we will help.
That's the message Gov. David Paterson relayed yesterday at the Daily News/Citizenship Now! call-in while the phones rang off the hook with questions from all over the world.
'Our hand is like the Statue of Liberty, the lady that stands in the harbor saying 'Bring your dreams to me,'' said Paterson, who is the first governor to visit the event in its seven-year run. 'Not only can people bring their dreams, but they can bring their problems and we can try to help them find the services to alleviate them.'
