Singapore: New technology helps reduce queues at immigration entity

Why queue and wait for hours when you can make the application in the comfort of your home or office?
The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has developed some tech-savvy solutions to the snaking queues that often occur outside its building in Kallang Road.
Visitors who wish to submit permanent residents applications or complete the formalities for PR, issuance of visit passes and student passes will now have to make an appointment on e-Appointment, one of ICA's online service portals.
