Nigeria: Crimes comm'n head explains brothers' deportations

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday said the Vaswani Brothers were deported finally from Nigeria for engaging in acts which constitute great threat to the economy of the country.
Chairman of the commission, Mrs. Farida Waziri ,at a joint press briefing with the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in Abuja, said the Vaswani Brothers Sunil, Harish and Mahesh whose deportation order was earlier revoked in anticipation that they have changed their characters for the better were finally deported because there were no remarkable changes in them as they continued to engage in fraudulent business transactions capable of plunging the economy into problems. She said the EFCC's recommendation for the final deportation of the Brothers was approved by the president.
