Feds reviewing AR 287(g) program

Rogers, AR -- Federal officials are in Fayetteville reviewing local government's participation in a federal immigration program.
Ben Lipscomb and Jeff Harper met Tuesday with officials from the Office of Inspector General, U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Lipscomb is Rogers city attorney and Harper is Springdale city attorney.
Sheriff Tim Helder of Washington County met with Inspector General officials on Wednesday and Sheriff Keith Ferguson of Benton County said he is scheduled to meet with officials today.
